Thank You to The Willington Hill Fire Department Members for Funding the New Addition.
The members of the department get a quartly stipend. The amount they get is based on the amount of calls and their level of participation in the Department as a whole. The members decided that they would give up their Stipend and use that money against a mortgage for the addition. The addition is NOT funded by the town and its tax payers money.
The Department as a whole thought that that it would be necessary that we add one more bay to the garage due to the fact that we currently have Six trucks and only four bays. We manage to fit five of them into the garage but due to lack of space we have to keep one of them outside.
The Department members are funding this project and Donations are welcome.
